Re: Searching for New Software (079B) HR-20

It has been my DVR for years and has the 0x740 software version.

Mon night/ Tue morning it crashed.  I unplugged it and it set up fine.  It only worked a few hours then last night/this morning and it crashed again.   I unplugged it again and it got stuck in this software update cycle where it doesn't find the software then crashes.  I have to unplug it to get it moving again. It finally stopped doing that and went to normal setup mode.  Then it couldn't find the satellite dish, a 775 error.  So, I unplugged the power to the SWIN like it recommends, waited and plugged it back in, the receiver started working.  

I wasn't confident that it was stable so I tried the 'reset receiver' from the settings menu.  It crashed and it wouldn't  do anything  I unplugged it again and restarted.  It setup fine, and I did the reset from the setting menu again and it is working fine.

Thanks for the advice.  We'll see if it cashes again tonight.
