I have an HD dvr in my living room. It has two inputs (one to watch and one to record). The installer ran separate inputs from each of the coax wall boxes in the room. It was installed in 2009. I currently have a rug that hides one of the cables but want to install new floors. Do I need to chip up the slab and run conduit from each box to the other to ensure I have both inputs at both boxes? Is there a simpler way to split the signal? I would like to avoid chipping up my slab If at all possible. Is this a bad installation? Is there any other way around this? Any help would be appreciated!!
