I've been giving your situation some more thought. The new Directv iPad App treats OOH somewhat differently. If you open the App and press the menu icon in the upper left -> GenieGO -> GenieGO out of home Access it will test the OOH. If you then press the menu icon again and select Playlist -> On DVR, you should see a list of what is recorded on your DVR. Make sure you have the latest App software, then go through the exercise I've outlined and tell us where the failure occurs. Note that the iPhone no longer has the two boxes, in home and out of home, same as the iPad.
