Curious why I can't get two Genies. Is there a technical reason or is this just their ridiculous policy?
I'm assuming that when you have one Genie and another DVR, the tech installs a splitter to hook up the 2nd DVR. I asked the salesperson if I could get a Genie and one of their other DVR's. She said only if I had two TV's.
Not being able to find answers here, I found a link for DirecTV's office of the president at Contact DIRECTV Office of the President - DIRECTV. E-mailed my concerns about customers not being able to get two DVR's on one TV and mentioned that the salesperson could NOT tell me exactly why I couldn't get two DVR's with only one TV.
