I hope this info helps.  As far as internet over wireless, I am in a rural area where my WiFi doesn't compete with others.  There is one signal other than mine and it is on channel 6.  I tuned mine to 11.  The 5 GHz N-standard WiFi in my home has been rock solid for things like video games (works perfectly for Destiny), Netflix (which we cancelled once we got DirecTV), and even the occasional Skype with the only hiccups happening when the ISP goes down.  Even then, I can still stream movies from my home media server.  I completely understand the recommendation against WiFi, but in this case, it doesn't seem to be an issue.  I will, however be willing to run out and get an ethernet cable to test it out if necessary.

Thank you for your quick response.
