I did try FB and was ignored. It looks like they flood the page so the comments from customers do not get read.
However I found an email to send to after searching on the web page for quite a while. I included the problem description and this thread. Once somebody read it I got a response. So far it works. We shall see over time.
"I realize that there are many that have similar experiences however it is very rare that it is actually the equipment. I actually have the same equipment that you do and do not have this issue. In my experience, audio dropping out is more often caused by incompatibilities with resolution.
I would suggest that you try the following:
- Press MENU button
- Select "Settings & Help," press SELECT
- Select "Settings," press SELECT
- Select "Display," press SELECT
- Select "TV Resolutions"
- Select desired resolution. (I recommend you select: 480p, 720p and 1080i)Since this is a system response issue I recommend disabling (480i and 1080P)
Even if your TV supports 1080P as mine does, I still suggest you disable it."
