red/white sound output and yellow video output from the DVD to the TV red/white sound input and yellow input (maybe the green component input on some newer TVs will have a yellow circle on the outside) then set TV to the composite input, for recording DTV if possible then the red/white sound output and yellow video output on the DTV receiver to the DVD red/white sound input and yellow video input and to program the remote we need both the DTV receiver model number behind the access card door and the remote model number upper front left corner.
