If you have another suggestion to make to resolve it, I'm happy to try. But I have actually tried everything suggested on this page so far including but not limited to:
–disabling firewall,
–starting browser in 32 bit
–clearing cache,
–deleting and reinstalling the plug-in
Despite these attempts, the problem persists. And the problem does not exist when I stream directly via a range of competing sites including, but not limited to:
–Netflix
–Amazon
–HBO GO
–Showtime Anytime
The problem also does not exist when I stream DirectTV-WatchTV on my iPhone in iOS 8.
The logical conclusion is that the problem is the DirectTV plug-in or some other aspect of the WatchTV part of the site, which has recently been overhauled. I am happy to be disabused of the notion by implementing a trouble-shooting suggestion from you or anyone else that solves the problem.
