I am experiencing the same problem I think.
When I order the playlist with oldest first, single shows are order correctly, but groups are placed in the list based on the newest episode, not the oldest. Then, within the group, the newest episode is listed first. Prior to this update, when listing oldest first, within a group the oldest was listed first.
I attempted to reorder by switching back to newest first (the default) and then back to oldest first without any luck.
This is very annoying as I can no longer determine the oldest show to watch.
