Thanks for sharing and I haven't yet tried to hook up my new 2014 Samsung via RVU yet but someone here on the forum indicated all you need is an Ethernet cable and a knowledgeable DirecTV customer service representative to get it to work. No Genie, no coax cable cr@p and no DECA.
