Tried everything so I am posting here hoping someone knows the answer. I've been through the whole resetting the box, the router, the modem, the SWM power and the Deca...
Internet is connected properly as this is what it reads in the network settings on the HD DVR (HD34-700) [Your receiver is now connected to the Internet, along with IP address, submask and all. Result Code: 88-343]. Additionally, You Tube and Pandora work fine so Internet is definitely connected. If I speed test my connection, I get 31Mbps download and 10Mbps upload which is plenty for Apple TV, Netflix and other services. All channels are working as they should, so does the recording and blayback.
HOWEVER:
1- If I try to rewind one of the channels where that service is offered (with the curved arrow in the guide), it prepares for replay, but gives me a failed message with error code 110. There is no mention of that error code anywhere on the net and the support staff at DTV has no idea of what it means.
2- If I try to watch a trailer for a movie On Demand, I get Sorry, this trailer is not available. And I am sorry too.
3- If I try to watch any On Demand show or movie or kid cartoon, it doesn't work either.
I tried chatting and calling tech support many times and troubleshot everything they could think of (had in their book) but nothing works. The last agent I got said it was a known issue, software issue, that a technician cannot resolve and that it would be resolved soon... I really think it's total BS.
Does anyone really knows how to resolve this issue? Thanks
