I have the same problem. I have been searching all over the internet for a fix and found tons of other people with the same problem. I would be curious if ANYONE is successfully watching Direct TV with Dolby Digital Surround Sound 5.1. I venture to say no. The other forums said that if I called that they would just give me the run around and tell me that it must be my equipment....for the record that is exactly what happened. It would be really nice if we could get an effective response even if it was to admit that there is no resolution to their problem.
