Since 2010 have been through 3 HR24's and awaiting 4th receiver for this issue (20+ second lag between pressing a button on my RF remote (NOT IR) and box responding.
CSRs tell me it is "A system wide software/firmware problem "DirecTv is addressing."" Tech supervisors who come out tell me "It is definitely NOT a software/firmware issue and any CSR who states that is in error."
There are LIES, DAMNED LIES and DirecTv. I have recorded recent conversations with Directv, mailed Certified Letters to Michael White, DirecTv CEO.
I have assured CSRs I will be calling 3 times a week till they get this issue resolved. (It is my new hobby =Getting the SERVICE I am paying to get.)
And BEFORE all the Directv WONKS ask why I am posting again on another thread, it is a WIDESPREAD problem. SO many threads, MANY who do searches will not see my posts unless I post to several threads.
(And, just because somebody has a HR24 w/o a problem is NO PROOF We have not had issues. It is like saying 'The sun is shining here, it CAN'T BE snowing in Alaska...')
