You can look into an Over The Air antenna (OTA) with a basic new TiVo Roamio HDDVR (can also be used on most cable systems with a cable card adapter) it has an option for lifetime service at $499.99 or $14.99 monthly plus $199.99 for the unit (you own it). I know nothing about Apple TV.
