I am a new DTV customer. I signed up for a package yesterday. I got 3 hd25 receivers. I need opinions on how to set up. New home with power and coax ran to 4 rooms ( living room, 3 bedrooms.) The power and coax are at eye level so I can mount tv's to wall. My goal is up have no visible wires. 2 of the 3 bedrooms will get a receiver. Should I wall mount the tv then mount the 1.5" directv receiver behind the tv so I don't see wires? Upgrade to RF remote? The living room is a little different. I installed a 5.1 surround and ran the in-wall wires to a nearby component closet. Would I hook the directv reveiver and DVD player to my denon av receiver through hdmi, then run hdmi to tv that's mounted above fireplace? Or should I mount the directv box behind this tv as well them just run my surrounds through the denon then hdmi to tv ? I don't know how thies work together? If I go the first option and hook dvd + directv reveiver up in closet then connect to denon via hdmi, then hdmi to tv, would the RF remote control all 3 or would I have to buy an IR repeater to control some of the components? I don't understand how to make this work. I want to hook the directv receiver up to the denon receiver, but how will the remote work. If I do put all components for the living room in a component closet them the directv install person will have to run coax to that closet. The electrician ran it above the fireplace along with the power supply like the other tv wall mounting areas.
