Ok, doing a little searching online i found how to blink back the codes after programming. Using code 990 and then keypad 1-5 on the remote, you count the blinks. Doing that, it appears two codes that partially work for the Speler TV I have are 10060 and 10812. I verified by resetting the remote to default and then programming those specific codes, and they work the same as the autoprogramming pushing the channel up 20 and 22 times. So that's some progress. However, I can't seem to figure out the blink-back code for 23 pushes of the Channel Up button. Blinking it back gives me 1, then 0, and pressing three gives me a LONG 1, and then it seems that the remote is thrown out of the blink back mode.
Looks like 10060 and 10812 are both Samsung TV codes, so I'll try the rest of the samsung codes and see if any of them work 100% correctly with this TV.
