Ok litzdog911... using your info I made some changes. Since I needed to see the screen to reset the resolution I went to my older HR21-200 box, reset it to 480i and 4:3 ratio, and moved it to the Mitsubishi, connected the component Video cables and the red/white RCA audio cables. Also set the TV to channel 3.
I moved the Genie HR44-500 to the other room along with the Sony TV it was originally set up with.
I now have the DirecTV menus visible on both TV's but have the 775 Error code on BOTH TV'S !! "Receiver can't communicate with the dish". So now 2 of our 3 TV's are down. The third is working fine. I unplugged the SWiM's and reconnected as suggested on the error message, and the connectors are tight... did that several times, even "reset" the HR 21-200 box. No difference.
Does moving these whole house boxes usually scramble signals? Should I ask DirecTV to re-authorize my boxes?
Thank you for your help, I really don't want to have to strangle my kid...
