Re: Best way to set up multiple televisions

Yeah, I was trying to stay away from the the Balun.  I have configured a few Black Box devices where we run 1080 video from one location to multiple displays over a single CAT6, as long as the distance isn't more than 300ft.  These units were about $700 a piece.  It would be easier to just get another receiver for that price.

With me only having one receiver in the basement, and the desire to connect up to 3-4 televisions, I thought there may be an easier way to connect to another receiver.  If I had been thinking more I would have ran a few more HDMI cables from location to location.  I can easily do so in the basement seeing as how there is a false ceiling, however I was hoping for another option.

With all of the receivers in my house configured to use RF for the remote, is there a way to have one remote control multiple receivers?  If I do get another receiver, I was wondering if I could use a single remote instead of programming my harmony for another, or using the DirecTV App to go back and forth.
