Yes, Broe, I could very easily call my local shop that we went through because they could get someone out here much quicker than scheduling something online. And what would I have to hide? As I said earlier, I had Dish Network for 3 to 4 years with no problems like this, no hike in prices, etc., and have had that happen several times since being with Directv. Being charged fees that were not supposed to be charged. So, to answer your question, yes it would be much quicker and actually cheaper to schedule someone to come out and fix the problem, if I was completely satisfied with my service all along. I do, however, only have about 4 or 5 months in contract, and at this point, having to go 4 or 5 days (as this is a weekend) without any television is the straw that broke the camel's back. I was simply wanting to know if anyone had any ideas of quick fixes that would allow us to be able to watch at least some television on our days off work.
